    UX32VD display tilt angle

    So I have both a UX31A and the UX32VD, and the UX32VD's display tilt angle is pretty horrible - I can tilt it maybe 100 degrees max, compared to the UX31A, where it goes to about 140 degrees. Has anyone else noticed this, or do I have a bad unit?

    Sounds like you may have the lower end lcd panel. Looks like the better lcd are in the i7 and the lower one is on the i5.

    No, I have the i7 and the IPS panel. I'm referring to how far back the screen tilts, not the viewing angle.

    I have notice the same problem. It is good laptop but too small lid angle for using it on a table. Have you seen a guide for modifying lid hinges?
