hello! im pretty satisfied with my zenbook, but.. I am experiencing screen tearing when I'm scrolling down web pages and even forum thread and it's VERY annoying. Same problem with youtube videous (no matter 320 or 1080p) and some not very demanding games (Don't Starve). Any tearing while playing FIFA 14 on max settings. Written a few topics to czech computer forums but no replies at all. Installed lastest graphics drivers. Vsync in Nvidia Control Panel is enabled. Thank you you very much for replies, I'm desperate for months due this problem.

    P.S. Benchmark results are normal

Have you tried updating the Intel & nVidia drivers from their respective manufacturer support page directly?

Yes I have, do you think it's a graphic card issue? I'm pretty confused because performance is good, I will probably send my laptop to warranty service a see what they do about that. Can be tearing a reason for a warranty replacement claim, if benchmark tests are ok? While viewing a tearing test on youtube, lines are broken in different places, tearing effect slide from upper to lower side of screen and its constantly visible at very top of the screen while in full screen playback.
P.S.: same effect when switching to Intel HD chip

Tearing is less likely to be noticeable at below 60 FPS. Is your game running higher than that (I ask because you said it's not very demanding)?

Aside from full driver uninstalls and reinstalls (maybe even different versions), you can try testing your video RAM: http://mikelab.kiev.ua/index_en.php?page=PROGRAMS/vmt_en

Game is set to 60fps cap. Just finished clean reinstall of both graphic drivers with no help. Video RAM test ok for HD chip, but for Nvidia graphics .exe file of test doesn't start. Sending my loved laptop to warranty service tommorow :( Thank you for help anyway

I have had the same problem with my beloved UX32VD since I got it and haven't done anything about it because I haven't been overly disturbed by it. However now it's starting to get on my nerves and I'm longing for a no-tear experience.
Have anyone had any success with getting rid of the tearing?

Here's what my screen looks like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Is7gfPe1X8M&list=UUnNhS8VMnVztoiCA7IKJ0GQ

PLEASE help a brother out if you know any solution to this annoying issue.

    Have a good day!
