hey ppls today i received my copy of whatlaptop mag and saw a pretty good deal on what seems to be a Z71V...checked their website www.rizeon.com and i can see a lot of more built on asus notebooks, z61a, z92u/a6u...they even seem to be selling the z62f napa notebook, but no pricing confirmed yet :(. After emailing them they said they expect to be shipping it in Mid March.
There aren't that many UK companies that use asus as an odm for some reason but the Z71V is the most popular here. Most i can see are clevo, uniwill and even msi are getting more popular. Theres 2 laptops i can't identify on their website which is the Z9400L and Z3500A.

Hey yes that is us and we currently do use Asus as a supplier simply because the quality of their products are one of the best we have seen up til now and thats what we want to provide our customers. There are a lot of good notebooks out there and its service and support that is a big differentiator in our opinion...you hear a lot of horror stories, lol...and we think we can do a better job at keeping customers happy.

Our Napa based solution based on the z62f is coming out mid march and the price should be very reasonable. Asus don't have any built on asus programs in the UK and we miss out on a lot of the cool laptops like the z63a and z70va however these laptops actually do look a lot better in real life. We are a little dissapointed with the look of a few core duo notebooks down the line...the z92j is basically the A6U, which isn't all bad and we have a Z96j based solution which has 128mb of x1600 ati graphics, which looks like the bigger brother of the z62f.

I think what Justin and a few others do, talking to customers through this forum is very good and I will also try to be here as much as possible for any ppls in the UK, however we only currently base notebooks on Asus, which may not be the same in the future as we are committed to building our own Rizeon brand.

    Thanks,

    Ridhwan Pasha
