    Differences as in??? Which is better or just... the physical part and model #.....be more specific...let us know what or how it's use for well narrow it down for ya..but since I post...and is a owner of the UL class...i'll start..

    UL30 = pros = 1. specs http://usa.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=8CwAK6 XZ0pekc7aI
    2. thin and light with 13.3" screen
    3. SU7300 1.3Ghz Core 2 Duo can be overclocked to 1.733 GHz with out voiding the warranty... and it's an ASUS!

    Cons =1.heavy battery...makes most of the weight.
    2. No internal CD/DVD/Blu ray drive.
    3. Price can be at the same as the other UL50/80 class

    UL50 = comes in 2 models larger screen at 15.6"
    specs: http://usa.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=QqP6p1vDWwn0 IIzZ

    UL80 = 14" screen...specs are slightly better than both UL30/UL50.
    specs: http://usa.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=oJ2UcCTkGd6GG7 Rs

    Hope this helps you decide on which poison to choose..depends on your usage any of these models will serve you well...

    I'm trying to decide between the UL50VT and UL80VT, so I was wondering...which UL80 specs are slightly better? Thanks!

    The internal specs are identical, there's no difference at all. The main advantage of the UL80VT is mobility, which means it's easier and lighter to carry and the battery lasts a bit longer. The main advantage of the UL50VT is bigger screen and separate numeric keypad so it makes a decent desktop replacement at the expense of mobility.

    If you haven't, go check my reply about the keyboard comparison of the 2 models on the other thread that you posted. :)
