Hi, I was wondering if any1 else has this kind of wierd difference in speaker sound? It seems like my right speakers are much louder than my left speakers. So much so that I actually have to change the balance in winamp to 25% left, giving the left side 25% more power i guess, to get an even sound...

Think i should go ask my retailer?

And you're sure that your balance isn't adjusted in your normal volume control.....

try reverse the sterio sound and see if the other speaker becomes the louder one. that way you'll be able to see if its the actual speaker or not.

Strange...make sure you have all your balances equal and also be sure the source is balanced as well...once in the past when I used MD's I recorded a whole minidisc with the balance set a little off to the left and I thought my hearing was going in my right ear~!!!

Then a whole week later I realized I had recorded all my music with the balance set to the left hahaha

    Cheers,
    Mike

Lol yes i have seen that before 2 times. Once when the left speaker was broken. The second time when i realized that the sound really is unbalanced becuase of different speakers in under the palm rests. You have to have hearing comparable to a bat to hear it. So congrats on your super human hearing :)

Ha...super hearing...i have big useless ears...i'm like an old man always asking people to repeat what they just said, lol i swear i'm half deaf. Lol, but when i listen to some music it just doesn't "feel" right lol. :p maybe you need your ears checked Eddie! Cause my z70va makes a high pitched annoying whine from the gpu too, and i know how you feel about that :p lol

Ok.. don't bash me because of my comment but first.. check to make sure you didn't change the volume balance on any of your SOUND program. WMP, Win amp, bla bla bla. Second, make sure you don't have wax in your ear. <-- Seriously, that could be the cause.

oh and i checked my windows sound settings and found that there was actually a slight unbalancing like 1/2cm for the two large slide bars for left and right sounds...

Seems to make everything better...but not sure if it's completely balanced yet lol, but good enuf, thx guys

How do i feel about the buzz? Like most others. Dont really notice it and not abrasive. Which helps my case. You have super human hearing like most audiophiles. :)
