I have a G51 and i just wanna know. How much of a difference will i see if i OC the factory under clocked GTX 260m back to the nVidia clock settings. Will the difference be more than 5 fps or will it be about the same.

    Gaming - not noticeable
Benching (Vantage / 3DMK06) - Slight increase in score approx. 500 pts

number crunching scales linearly (almost 1:1) with clocks. graphical performance will be fairly close behind. a 10% oc will net you a little less than 10% in the respective benchmark category (and average fps in a non-CPU dependent game).

eg. if in some scenes running cod4 maxed you were only able to get 55fps, you can now get 60.

Thats my point...not noticeable "in game"...5 FPS is not a huge deal at all in my World and hardly worth the potential Temp increase

when Benching it will be noticeable as "your Benching"..looking at Scores, comparing Scores, trying to "crack that 11 / 12K" yada yada yada

Yes NTune is great for OC'ing the 260M..plain n simple...runninig Crysis for periods at a time will test your GPU OC's fine, just keep an eye on your Temps.

Install Evga Precision and set-up OSD (On Screen Display) to monitor your "in game" GPUCore Clocks and Temperatures. You won't be able to use Precision for OC'ing, but works great for monitoring.....good way also to ensure your GPU is downclocking / upclocking properly when entering / exiting 3D Apps.
