Hi, had a W3V for over a month now and I got a Vodafone 3G PCMCIA card for it, (well it came free with the laptop, worth £199) and I've been getting the "Unsupported WLAN detected" balloon window or whatever you call it (bottom-right of screen). Upon connecting to the device with the vodafone software it says "Port Disconnected" and cant connect.

    What should I do?

Have you tried disabling the onboard wifi?

    Thanks for your response

I tried disabling the wireless on my laptop but that didn't work, it seems the device cannot connect to the laptop, let alone connect to the internet through GPRS/3G connection.

    Any more ideas?

Try it in someone elses laptop just to see if it works.
