I was thinking about the S5N but it only has intel graphics. Heres what I would like to do with it is mainly surf the net, build web sites, type up word files, and play Grand Theft Auto San Andreas when it comes out on PC. Would the S5N be capable of playing that game? If not could you sugjest a laptop (any brand or model) that has good battery life?

    Maybe with these specs:?
    2.0 Ghz CPU
    2.0 Ghz RAM
    7200RPM HD
how would the battery life be with these kinda specs?
I am open to anything so please sugjest

    Thanks
    Joseph

The S5N is an ultra light notebook, its built for max portability. It will do fine for web surfing and general office apps. But if gaming and performance are what your after then I would look to another model. Ideally an ATI 9600 or better GPU would be best for what you want. Thus I would look at the M6N series if you keen on ASUS. If not then there are quite a few laptops with PM cpu's and descrete GPU's to choose from, eg ACER aspire 2000, 1600 series, Dell 8600, sony viao A and S series just to name a few.

Is size a big issue? The S5N is a small (but very light) notebook... and MOST small notebooks don't have dedicated graphics. For your information, the Intel Extreme Graphics chip isn't really that bad... except for the fact that it shares memory with your RAM. Other than that, it's quite decent.

the Acer Travelmate 3201 is a good laptop to look at...
