Does anyone have any information about any upcoming 14"-15.4" Asus notebooks? I would like something new but something that is a decent size - not the gigantic monster Asus notebooks that they claim are regular 15.4" notebooks like the G and M series.

I really like the N81VP-C1 but I'm not a fan of the resolution and the 32-bit OS kills it for me. Anything similar coming out soon?

I was looking at Asus 14-15.4" laptops until I saw the Sager NP8662, now I am considering it instead.

The Sager NP8662 is too big for me. It's a great notebook and I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it was sized more along the lines of a normal 15.4" notebook.

From everything I've gathered so far about the K series, it seems that everyone is calling it a budget mainstream notebook. Most sites even fail to mention the 4860 that it will be equipped with, which in my eyes takes it far away from a "budget mainstream" notebook and throws it right into the powerful gaming notebook category slightly behind the Sager NP8662 and similar notebooks. Am I missing something here?

i have the m860tu and i think it was just a bit too big, now im looking into the 13.3 monster or the n8 both really promising.

AFAIK, the K series will be priced very attractively - this single feature will make it a budget system.

There's no official word on the release date, but I know it'll be released pretty soon.
