I was messing around in Device Manager when I noticed that the video card was displayed as "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5800 series." I knew that updating the drivers would fix that, so I checked for a new driver version in Device Manager. Well, it found a new one and installed it, and now it says the proper "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 58070."

However, now when I open CCC - advanced, the only thing that appears is Video Converter. CCC - basic gives me a message saying my video card is not supported by CCC. Also, I think I'm noticing better framerates after updating the driver through Device Manager.

Should I try to install 10.6 CCC drivers again? I wonder what that driver update did, since I am getting better frame rates. Thanks

Updating automatically in Device Manager will give you whatever driver version WIndows Update is recommending, which will be older than 10.6. Try reinstalling the driver.
