    Updated video driver for the x1700 video card

    Eventhough there are no specific CCC drivers for the x1700 on the ATI website. Could this card be updated with another driver there? Has anyone updated there x1700 video card yet?

    I have been searching but cant find any help with this also.

    I am going to try the Driver heaven mod and see how that goes. Not really good enough as you our video card should be supported by ASUS and ATI. Not much of an entertainment laptop.

    Can anyone help or tried the Driver heaven mod. If so how did it go and what edition of the drivers did you use?

    I've updated it to 7.31 in Vista x64. There was a 7.5 (for Vista) but the latest is still in RC2 stages.

    i got them here at http://asustreiber.de/. Oddly it is supposed to be accessble, but it may be a server downtime.

    Not good, at least with an external monitor, 7.5 desktop Catalyst, 32-bit Vista.
