    Hello,

I am trying to update my BIOS but I encounter a serious problem.
The ASUS website suggests I use WinFlash to update BIOS, but whenever I try to, I get this error:

    2Untitled.png

So I tried running the EZFLASH from the boot mode.
But whenever I enter it, I just encounter the same massage just with different words.
It again says that I need to have a 20% battery in order to be able to update BIOS, now I can't, so I need to shutdown.

The battery itself isn't dead, whenever I unplug the laptop is working.
The problem is, the laptop recognizes it as bad and gives the massage in tray icon :''Consider replacing the battery''.

    Please any help?

Have you tried a power cycle (disconnect battery and charger, press and hold power button for 5 seconds, reconnect battery and charger)? Perhaps the status reporting can be fixed by draining the current from the board this way. If it's software/firmware related, a power cycle might not help.
