On the bottom if your laptop, look for the plastic cover that indicates its a memory slot. Unscrew it, and then pop in the new ram into the ram module. It kinda goes in on an angle, and then it sits down flat afterwards.

in answer to my own question... yes both ram modules are located on the underside of the laptop rather than underneath the keyboard making it very easy to upgrade the memory. i have just upgraded my memory from the original 1gb to 2gb this morning and the difference so far is already noticable. The main performance difference im sure will be when i play games so i look forward to that! i would recommend anyone with a f3ja laptop to upgrade because it is so simple(only if you know an odd thing or two about the insides of your computer). goodluck to anyone wanting to upgrade their memory!
