    Upgrading ASUS K40IJ RAM

    Hi,

    I am trying to upgrade the RAM on this ASUS K40 IJ laptop. I am not sure where this RAM is located and how i will be able to access it. Can someone pls help me with upgrading this?. I tried removing the screws in the back of the laptop but i couldnt open it.

    I think a user here with user id javascript has upgraded according to the forum here. Pls help.

    Its usuallly under an access panel underneath your notebook. If there are no access panels then it will require further dismantling.

    u might want to go to the asus website and under support search for a guide to dismantle your computer and upgrade stuff.

    Thanks Sean473. I was trying to look for the manual and the only manual that i can see for english is the hardware manual and it is very basic user manual like battterychange etc. Can you pls give me a link for the manual ur talking about.

    if u can't find anything else tough luck.. use the triangle symbol on the bottom to report the thread and move it to Asus forum.. they might be able to help u find a bettter one because if this is the only one , there might not be anything else.
