    Hey,
Just wondering if i upgrade my current harddrive from 5400k to 7200k would that void my asus w2j's warranty? I really can't stand this slower harddrive anymore since i am using this as a desktop replacement with the added bonus of mobility around school i would really like something faster. Thanks for the help.

as long as you return the orginal hdd when you send it in for repairs there should be no issues.
one option is to buy a cheap external case and mirror the internal hdd that way you have a backup, which is always a good idea, and if you ever need to send it back a simple swapout is all that is needed

You won't have any problems with your warranty even if you send it in for repairs with the upgraded hard drive. They just might not give that hard drive back to you (IE. they give you a whole different computer for replacement).
