    Does upgrading RAM on a asus EEE or anyother asus computer void the warranty??? Also how hard is it to upgrade on the EEE? Can anyojne forward me a link to a guide on upgrading EEE? thanks!

    For Asus computers, you are allowed to upgrade the Ram and HDD.

    i dont think that there is a way for them to monitor that you changed ram. Unless there is a sticker on it? Jsut replace it, if something does go wrong put it back to default.

    u dont have to. My brother had a asus g1s he updated the ram from 2 gb to 4 gb he send his laptop for rma (some problem with the motherboard) wit the 4 gb ram they dint say nothing. Just make sure u write the quantity of ram on the RMA paper thing

    DDR2 200pin So-Dimm. 667MHz would be ideal but other speeds will work just fine.
