Hello boyz and girls,
I would like to upgrade my video card on my Asus M70Vn:
- is it possible?
The video card present on it is nVidia 9650M GT with 1 GB DDR2, I thinks its a MXM II.
See here and here
I know (I believe in fact) some model have VC with DDR3 --> MXM III?
If it's possible, what card can I put?
Shall I modify the BIOS (the video BIOS is in) for?
Any help & any advice will be appreciated!

Not sure about non G series but despite the use of an MXM connector and the cards stating their MXM spec. The G series and atleast the M50 had ASUS specific cards. The MXM connector is actually flipped.
So assuming ASUS has stuck with it the answer is mostly no and your only real bets are obtaining a similar card from something out of your series (for bios reasons). -
I didn't understand what you said, ClutchX2, I'm french & my english is too poor for!
You mean "mostly no", I see, but for your explanations about G series, M50 and MXM, I don't understand? -

ASUS uses an upside down MXM connector. The cards also state a particular MXM version. The cards wont work in a regular MXM notebook. I have not seen a regular MXM card working in an ASUS notebook either.
I have seen an M50 with a G50's 9800M GS. I have seen a G50 with a G51/G60 260M. Both required a bios modification from the donor laptop I believe.
Generally the part has to come from a similar ASUS laptop. But still does not mean it will work.
I hope I was clearer. People who speak english sometimes dont understand me either lol. -
Ok, I blieve I understand better now: Asus uses a specific MXM connector, and this asks a card with a particular MXM version, otherwise it doesn't work
but I see some Asus laptop model which supports upgrade of their video card?
like this one: http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus/316079-nw-upgrade-c90s-9600m-gt-512mb-ddr3-fixed.html
or this another:

(the guy who did it, has also modified the mobo Bios to insert VGA Bios of the new VGA card)
here is a picture of my mobo:

you can see the MXM connector -
There's only 2 or 3 VGA cards which comes with M70V Series: the HD 3470, the 9600M GS and the 9650 M GT,
but they are very similar.
What I would want, if I change the VGA card, is a more poweful card, of course, not the same or similar -
I think this card can work in my laptop
NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M - Notebookcheck.net Tech
for TDP it's OK
original GPU:
NVIDIA GeForce 9650M GT - Notebookcheck.net Tech
what I need is to find one with reversed MXM connector to fit in my laptop -
You need to also find the correct MXM version. I think that in the G50 series we cannot upgrade to a 460M because it uses a newer MXM version. So just because the 525M has the correct TDP, it does not mean it will be on a supported board or MXM interface.
