I am currently using an ASUS M70Vn-X1 notebook. ASUS decided to cheap out on the video card by giving it only DDR2 memory. This results in getting ~2200 less points in 3DMARK06 and obviously less frames in games. Would it be possible to put a 9800gs inside and simply upgrade the cooling plate and power adapter to a larger one? Or does the socket on the motherboard need to be different to supply the power. I like the notebook a lot and just want some more juice in games. I know I would need an ASUS reverse GPU. Any one selling one for a good price? Thanks for any thoughts.
