Hello. I'm getting tired of the very low viewing angles of my notebook screen, and the low resolution, too.
So I thought, is it possible to upgrade it in some way? It would be great if I could swap the monitor to an IPS FULL HD display.

Googling, I found out that upgrading displays on a laptop could be easy or impossible, and might be hard to even know if what you are going to do is going to work.

So I post here to ask a specific question: are there any people who attempted the same task with an Asus? better: with a K550V?
    Did it work?

The model is K550V, and the display is 1366x768. I see that, on the internet, a model called K550VX is indeed full HD, and the name is almost identical. Maybe this is a good sign.

    Thank you.
