    iirc, not all mice settings are saved on steam. I know every time I've had to reinstall TF2 (til I got my second HDD set up as a game drive) I've had to reset my settings to my liking.

    just making sure, it lucky in the case of these games they dont have a single-player experience, so they dont technically have a save file to copy, the things u unlock are just synced on steam cloud.

    Yeah, I was basing my experience on L4D1, L4D2, and MW2.

    I've actually had a lot of issues with steam and l4d with the settings. It doesn't save the settings I have right now, it saves the settings from the first time I ever installed L4D. so my resolution, and all graphics settings are out of whack

    Steam Cloud has always been buggy. I tend to leave that function off because even if I turn it on, nothing ever saves or gives me the wrong setting. (Had this happen in TF2 and L4D a lot)
