    Hey Guys,
Need some help here. I've been reading over these formus for the last couple of days about G2S-a1's. I have an G2S-A2. My question is.

    1.
Does anyone know where I can find this motherboard:

    A7S Mainboard "Rev 2.1 p/n : 08G27AS0021W"

I'm very confused as you guys talk about having
    "ASUS G2S-A2
    Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.2Ghz)
    2GB DDR2 667 (1024MB x 2) Dual Channel...."

How do I tell what CPU it has? Under the heat sink the chip there, which I think is the CPU says: 2.20/4M/800 INtel. two symbols then 06 another symbol.

    Question 2.

Is there a better board I should be buying instead of the original?

    Question 3.

If I can put in a bigger CPU or Mobo do I need to upgrade the power supply, or is that possible?

Hope I've put this in the correct thread.

    Thanks guys,

    Goodz

most likely the mobo will be available from asus. If that laptop is dead i suggest buying a new laptop or taking up your issue with asus and getting a RMA. You don't really need a CPU upgrade as the GPU will be your limiting factor in games and if you don't game much your CPU is fine.

TO my knowledge you can only put that motherboard into the g2s.

Give Asus a shout first. To my knowledge all the G2S utilize the same motherboard. Currently it isn't available from the http://estore.asus.com so contacting them directly would probably be your best shot.
