I wonder how to push 4 latches back on a8js, here's the situation
I am installing the keyboard, by pushing the 4 latches (secure locks above the keyboard) back , keyboard pops up . after putting the new one back in, 4 latches won't go back. is there's any specific method that i should use. please help!
i will keep refreshing the page to get quick inputs, thanks in advance.

It shouldn't be hard, insert the bottom on the keyboard first at an angle, then push the top down until the tabs click.
If that doesn't work, then that's weird... -
how hard should i push it, the key (which key) itself or the latches?

Are the latches there? Meaning, if you don't put the KB down, they are still there and not jammed, correct?
I don't really understand whats the problem here...perhaps a picture would help? -
i believe it's jammed.. am i ****ed?

If they're stuck in there, try to use something small, like a tip of an xacto blade or a pin, or something to jiggle them around and get them free.
To be perfectly honest with you, it's gotta be the simplest and one of the best ways to secure a keyboard out there... but then again, to remove it, you're just supposed to push them back far enough to pop the keyboard out, you're not supposed to drive them back into the computer. I mean there is a chance that you popped the spring out that sits behind it and if you did, it's sitting on your motherboard now and there's no good way to fix it or replace it... basically you'd have to take the computer apart to find it and it's so small that that would be a chore in itself. -
try pushing the latches the other way to get them loose and then pull on them using something small like a paper clip

it won't come out, anyway, thank, i think i have to rma it again, my stupidity..
