Program says drive D is already NTFS. C is Fat32.

Related to C Drive:message says "convert cannot run because the volume is being used by another process. Convert may run if this volune is dismounted first.
ALL OPENED HANDLES TO THIS VOLUME WOULD THEN BE INVALID. Would you like to force a dismount on this volume? Y/N"

What happens if I click Y?

Thats strange...I cant remember what that utility says...been awhile since I used it but, I know that it does need to restart the lappie and do its thing before Xp boots...which explains the demount...thus I guessing that this is what mine said and it should be fine....if you dont have any important data on the drive yet then press Y and see what happens...can always use the recover disks..takes about 10min to get back to factory settings.

To convert the C drive you do have to dismount the drive.... basically it'll swap it to NTSF when you reboot, in dos....... it'll be just fine.
