    Hi All,

I have searched for an answer to this - but RMclock, SpeedFan, and Motherboard Monitor do not pick up the CPU temp on my W3J. Notebook Hardware Control does, but every 10 seconds when the program is running, the mouse cursor changes to the hour glass, probably during an info update, which is really annoying. None of these programs can successfully detect the motherboard name/type, presumably because it's so new. Are there any utilities that will simply show me the CPU/HD temp in the system tray seamlessly - meaning not changing the mouse cursor or otherwise interrupts the user (me) when it updates the info?

    Thanks,

    Matt

Does MobileMeter works well on Core Duo notebooks? I'm finding that NHC was the only utility to give me tray icons, but it made my system flinch every time it took a reading. MobileMeter is less invasive than that?

    Thanks-

    Matt

Oh, also, and I know this is nitpicky, but since I'm American I need to see the readings in degrees Fahrenheit. Hey don't blame me, blame it on the German scientist! :)

MM works on Core Duo notebooks extremely well, also takes up no space on computer and also you can see the graphs of how the components are running. Though you cant change it to Farenheight, its a more accurate reading.

hey, something also interest about the setting to full speed of CPU to see how is the temperature. Probably, it will be different when changing the setting to a "Always on" in Power schemes under Power Options Properties, and install a cpu-z and run it. You will see the temp. is up and down (997.5MHz and 1828.7 MHz) during running a application. Just share some informations with you guys.
    Cheers
