Can you apply AS5 to a V1JP and if so would it void the warranty?

If the CPU has a warranty seal, yes.
Because you have to remove the heatsink and fan first to apply the paste.
Why do you ask that anyway?
I your laptop overheating ? if it's more than the numbers indicated in the V1Jp Review on this site, your model might have a defect.

It will most likely void your warranty with Asus.

You will void the warranty by putting on AS5, because there is a seal on the CPU.

The V1JP is naturally a warm laptop when gaming and under light tasks, I'm sure you've read MysticGolem's Review on the V1JP.
