    close, but no. that's the modular battery for the Z71 series. note that it says B32-M7 after "li-ion battery pack". M7 is Asus Taiwan's name for the Z71. for the V1, it says B32-V1

    Who are you buying the G1p from? Or who are you planning to buy the battery from? I'm sure they could answer your question right away.

    That's correct the V1JP modular bay battery is not yet available. From my understanding it will be available near the end of January.

    Europe have the modular bays and are included in the laptop box if you buy it Asus retailer

    That's right many of the European version of the Ensemble coems with many or all optional equipment, but all of this is included into the price.

    ASUS North America doesn't include these optional equipment, since it raises prices, plus it allows the users to have a choice to get them or not.

    There's not more dissapointing when you have to pay 100-300$ more for a laptop but your getting extras that you really don't need or want.
