    To all V1Jp owners,

My V1Jp's monitor max resolution is 1440x 900, but when I read the specs in the reviews, their max resolution is 1680x 1060?

Anybody know why my screen resolution is lower?

Perhaps the drivers? As well, where did you buy it?

I bought in Malaysia. Does the location will make any difference?

From what I've heard, there are various versions depending on location. The V1 in the UK has a WXGA+ screen while in N.A. it offers a WSXGA+ screen.

Yep, location can make a difference.

Don't worry if your notebook would run in a smaller resolution than the native one due to drivers, you would be able to tell it is -- the screen would be fuzzy.

I see, looks like Malaysia and Singapore are getting the same monitor, which is WXGA+ (1440 x 900).

US/Europe are getting better monitor which is WSXGA+.

Yup .. if you can see my tag .. we only get the 15.4" WXGA+ monitor. I also read the reviews before I bought one, I searched all around singapore for the same model in the reviews .. but this is the only model they have.

Actually I am not too mobile so rarely use the battery. At home using AC, I removed the battery and stored it somewhere.
