    Just wondering if anyone else has had trouble along these lines? I did a fresh recovery and have had lots of trouble since.

    Ok, sussed it - uninstalling the TPM software causes this problem

    Uninstalling? Weird. Well probably you don't want to go through the reinstall again, but if you do I would suggest a clean install from the DVD (see the Info Booth_FAQ, #14) and then only install the drivers you need -- no TPM.

    Microsoft has several Hotfixes addressing notebook hibernation issues. More than likely you may find that they will work in your case. Unfortunately, you usually have to contact Microsoft so that they will send you the KB Hotfix, but it is worth it.
