This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Anyone want to make a nice list of removable bloatware from the V1s?

    The G1s shouldn't be any different, all ASUS notebooks are preloaded with the same programs.

    Besides the Asus programs there is only Norton which is bloatware. Nothing else.

    However, some of the Asus utilities could be useless to some people.

    Very true, Only Norton and ASUS LiveUpdate are must uninstalls. Everything else has a use, though it may not mean that for all users.
