V1S Modular bay battery problems thread

Hi all,

Ive been in touch with asus about the V1S modular battery problem. Since there is quite a lot of people having the same kind of problems I wonder if anyone knows what will solve the issues.

Heres what happend to me: First, the computer worked fine when the modular battery was still unused. The main battery worked just fine.

Then I connected the extra battery and thats when the problems started. Averything seemed fine until the modular was completely drained. Then the computer all of a sudden just died. I connected the AC adapter and i was able to boot. Now the main battery wont charge at all, its stuck at 87% state of charge. I am only able to run the computer on the modular bay battery, wich is charging and seem to work.

Wheres is exactly the problem located in the hardware? Do i have to RMA the whole computer or will just a new main battery solve my problem? Will I be able to run the computer with the modular bay battery once I get a new main battery from Asus?
