I've been getting signs lately that the cmos battery is dying. I know it seems a bit soon for that since the machine was manufactured only 19 months ago but the clock won't keep proper time, the bios clock keeps resetting to Sept. 5, 2007 and my Bios settings keep changing back to defaults whenever I shut the laptop down for a few minutes. I would like to replace the cmos battery and am wondering..is it easy to get to or do I have to disassemble half the machine to get to it? I'd like to know before I waste time taking things apart. If it's too involved I will just send it off to Asus. Anyone have knowledge about V series innards to answer this one?
