hey guys, has anyone had any luck with any tweaks or driver improvements to make the volume on the v1s a little louder, it is so quiet, its killing me...

the crappy mixer in vista doesnt help much either...

go to the bios and adjust the speaker volume from 5 to 6.
Any louder and the speakers rattle too much.

That only changes the volume during boot I think, I found the best way to change the volume, Install the Klite codec pack, then go to config, ffdshow, audio decoder, change the codecs so their processed by ffdshow, then go to the volume tab and increase it. Works brilliantly for me.

Matt, I could use a little more detail on how you installed and activated the codecs. I am not sure where to go to change the codecs so they are processed by ffdshow. Could you provide a little more detail please. I downloaded Klite full 3.70 (13 meg) and don't know what to do with it. Help. Thanks.
