When I try to use the scroll down on the touch pad, which is the far right part of the pad with the line going up and down, my pointer jumps upper left every time I scroll down. Is this software or my touchpad?

Clean your touchpad if it is dirty.

If this doesn't fix it, try changing the scroll region; who knows that might fix it.

    Otherwise, try a driver reinstall.

    Post back if neither works.

Update driver? Revert to older version?

Try stopping the touchpad utility in msconfig, and use the Windows default. See if the same thing happens (although scroll region might be disabled in Windows...)
