I'm on the verge of buying one of these two laptops, but I'd like some advice from clever people that know.

    Apparently...
The W3 runs at 1280x768, and has a v good screen.
The V6 runs at 1440x1050, but I've read reports of the screen being very bad.

So. Is the screen quality difference big enough to justify the lack of screen space? Is the V6's screen really that bad? I'll be using it for Photoshop and Maya mainly, so 1280x768 really is the lowest res I can consider(a bit too small to be honest, but if the W3's screen is good enough I'd buy it) Colour trueness, etc is important, but not a huge deal as I've got a nice big CRT monitor for the heavy work. I'm not very concerned about viewing angles (unless they're awful!) as I'm never going to be working at 30degrees to the laptop!

    Cheers guys and gals
