    Hi there,

    Does some kind soul out there have a copy of the old v0801a BIOS for the V6V? I've given up hope on ASUS ever revising the finger-scorching v1201 or giving their users some type of meaningful fan control.

    I would be much obliged if someone could mail it to me at [email protected] -- many, many thanks!

    Also, just to be clear -- I've tried NHC, undervolting, and every other trick in the book. All I want is for the fan to kick on at a low temperature at a low RPM so the book stay closer to 50c than 60c -- sadly, this is not something ASUS wants to make easy for its users.
