Have a friend who purchased a V6V from Milestone PC and it turns out the battery is shot right out of the box. Can't get ahold of anyone @ milestone (go figure) and asus sais they only warranty the battery for 1 year.
Anyhow my question is will this battery replacement work 90-NAA1B1000
on the actual battery is is 70-NAA1B1000
Does anyone have any experience with replacement batteries on the v6 series

Wait a minute. The battery warranty is one year from the purchase date. A battery that is DOA should be exchanged with a good one from warranty.

I"m not sure what the scoop is, not a huge deal but i'm just wanting to know if this battery part # will fit.

Pretty sure it will - I'm fairly certain that's the one I used to replace mine in my old V6V, but I'll have to check when I get home.
Of course, the replacement is now shagged too. -
interesting, how many batteries have you gone through, i wonder if it really is the batteries going bad or if somehow the charging mechanism in the notebook itself is to blame.

Keep in mind that the V6v batteries were probably manufactered 3 years ago or so. That makes them very old. If you could find a newer one that would be better. The V6j battery might be your best bet. Careful though, there were issues with the V6j and its battery, though I think it was the computer, not the battery.
