Recently bought V6V 8085, and googling'round found little options to upgrade ram to 2*533'1Gb SODIMMS...
Given that HERE IS SPAIN (lol) and availability of certain brands of memory is "limited" (sic), I beg your help just in the case you've upgraded your V6V with any of the following modules... just to make my next buy less... risky
    Thans in advance, m8s.

    Options found in the net:

    Transcend - Model: TS128MSQ64V5J
    http://www.transcend.com.tw/Products/MemList.asp (by selecting Notebook-Asus-V6V) <-- This selector don't work with Firefox, only M$IE [8]

    Kingston - Model: KVR533D2S4/1G http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/configurator/modelsinfo.asp?SysID=22331&mfr=ASUS&model=V6000V+%28V6%2FV6V%29+Series+Notebook&Sys=22331-ASUS-V6000V+%28V6%2FV6V%29+Series+Notebook&distributor=0&submit1=Search

In this web you can find a list of different modules, but with no "official" reference to the brand-model-part number.

You should honestly be fine with any DDR2 400/533mhz so-dimm. Asus doesn't test every module under the sun, but they usually try to put together a list which helps the memory makers sell dimms to people who have a particular notebook.... although just "anything" might not work, something like a Kingston or Corsair stick should work fine. Although Kingston may make their dimms in Europe with different memory modules.

    Thanks,
    Justin
