I'm leaning towards buying a V6Va. But I just noticed that all of the cable connections are on the right side!![]()

two options.
1. and my favorite - use the touchpad... but seriously, you've got bluetooth so if you need an external pointing device, get a bluetooth mouse.
2. get a right angle usb plug and use a hub... that'll keep everything out of your way.
The design of the V6 leads to some compromise in ergonomics in terms of port placement. The thinness of the system makes it impossible to really place any ports on top of each other, so they have to be side by side. The battery and hinge design basically keep anything from being accessible on the rear, although many look at this as a plus because it's a pain to plug things in back there and would only be good for a system that really didn't leave the desk and needed a lot of plugs in all of the time. There is also little room on the left side with the cd drawer and pcmcia slot and then you've got the front which is really too thin for any ports and the only ones that would make sense up there would be the audio ports.
All in all, this is one of the only systems I would truly call an ultra portable desktop replacement..... a lot of them, even the Z70va are even to the mobile point (light and great battery life), but the V6 is thinner and lighter than most portfolios people carry around and is quite a feature packed powerhouse....
