I have a V6Va since Jan 2006. It went to Asus repair four times now for the exact same problem. My LCD screen flickers from time to time. Last time it went to repair, Asus replaced the LCD with a new one, but after about 2 months it start flickering again.

Now, I have another RMA requested. What do I have to ask or tell them this time. Any idea where to ask them to look? Seems like the problem is not the LCD screen itself, but something else.

    Thank you,

    Dugdug

Sounds like maybe the LCD cable is loose or has an intermittent short? Definitely not the glass since they've already replaced it.

Is it plugged into the wall or a UPS/power surge bar?

    hi Cori,

You asked that before. So I use a power surge bar since the last repair. I don't think it make any difference.
