Hi, for curiosity i instaled nhc, notebook hardware control, and i depared with the option of fan control can be enable! [in chc(centrino hardware)counld't!!!] So, v6v user's if u want to have some more control to ure fan... thats a option. I'm using bios v1102 and my fan only wakes at tmps like 50º. Now, i can control that! I can put the interval betewen 20º and 70º. ofcorse, in my case, and more appropiate for security of the compunents and temp very cool, my intervals are : fan off -> 30º and fan on 50º. In this interval the fan is working for longer time then before. I notice a very lower temp now in normal use.
Many people maybe discover that before me but i remenber to write it in here...
i notice, in the begining a small instablility of the program when i am chosing fan control but not to be worried. Until now...
    thx

ps: to people that only use chc:
Nhc is similar to chc, so don't be afraid to use it!! lol :D

NHC is just the CHC renamed and with a new license.
Now if you are a business or want some new features you have to pay...

It's sad to see how good software which starts as free software becomes commercial when the fame and popularity reaches it...

This does sound good. What sort of temps do you find your unit running at now and what sort of time do you get out of your battery when running this software?

    Thanks
