I am hoping to purchase a V6va laptop in the very near future. I plan on installing linux on it as soon as it arrives. I would really appreciate it if some of the V6va owners who have tried installing linux or are running linux would post some of their thoughts/impressions. Thanks for any information advance! :)

After some searching, it appears the V6va should work fairly well under linux (video card, CPU throttling, etc. seem to be supported). I will post back with my experiences if anyone is interested. :)

you should check out http://www.linux-on-laptops.com/ you can find a lot of information here for getting the various things working, I have linux on my 4-5th laptop now and it's worked well on all of them, it's things like the extra buttons that are harder to set up.
