    i dont think it does. it's only good when you have a video card that has dvi and you need vga.

    If you just need to get video, they work great, I use one so that I can have my 360 and laptop hooked up to my flat panel and just use the input button to switch.

    I doubt that cable can convert to DVI, it probably just allows you to use your VGA port to plug into a DVI with analog quality

    For upconverting from vGA to DVI, you'd need something like this:
