So, the horizontal viewing angle has been great according to a prior posting on this board. BUT, what about the vertical viewing angle? Did I remember someone say about 20 degrees?
I'm highly considering this notebook over the S360P. I'm coming from a Fujitsu P7010 which has an excellent screen and battery life. Watched 2 whole DVDs on a transcon flight the other week.
Thanks,

Well horizontally I'm looking at it right now and I'd say from the center, I'd give it a little over 40 degrees both directions, or over 80 degrees total.
Horizontally I'd say 170 and I've had people say it's basically 180 degrees...... but I think it's more than sufficient any way you put it.
Thanks,
Justin

Thanks Justin.
I'm going to make up my mind by the morning.

you're welcome...... maybe some others can try to gauge their viewing angles on the verticle... it's a tough call because everyone has a different opinion of what works.
Thanks,
Justin

raysmd, just curious, why are you looking for a new laptop to replace the Fujitsu P7010? I mean you sound pretty happy with it and It's not that old a system...Just curious, I hope you don't mind.

I was also considering the S360P quite seriously for some time...but eventually I ruled it out, I think the W3V is the better all around package and value. That Sony is one sweet system though. [8D]
Vertical viewing angle on the w3v?
