My son has the G2s A1 and playing games is impossible. He's tried Medal of Honor Airborne and another older game
and only gets frame rates of 2 fps or so. Very choppy too.
He has the latest video drivers and has the performance set to high. Any ideas? He's in the Navy so he can't always get online to research the issue.

If he's playing in 1920x1200 with maximum settings that might the case, althougt 2 really seems low.

Maybe a disk defragmention could help

Also, was he trying with AC plugged & battery charge under 90%? I know it gives problems on the G1S...

He supposedly has the latest video drivers and has lowered the resolution but no luck. He's also tried playing with the lowest setting in the games. He hasn't defragged yet. But it's only been up and running for a couple of weeks and this problem showed up right off the bat. I usually build his machines and handle his pc problems but I'm in Florida and he's in Mississippi right now. We might go visit him this weekend then I might switch laptops with him so I can check his out. Thanks
