    Very Slow Shutdown

    um..well lately i've been changing stuff on my PC..and now upon shutting down..it hands on the 'Windows is now shutting down' for like 2 minutes.

    any problems how to fix?

    It's probably due to some background processes that are taking a long time to shut down, or they are 'hanging'.
    I believe there's a registry edit to fix this so that it will completely shut down the hanging processes after a fixed time... but first, why not try defragging your hard drive?

    done all that..pagefile thing is also disbaled...still about 90sec shutdown
