Hello people, i'm new to this forum and joined today only.
I had been using Asus' products for the past 5 years which kept me more than satisfied.

I recently bought a U6Sg notebook and wanted to switch my OS to 64 bit; but the big disappointment was when i searched for the drivers in the support section, they were available only for the 32bit version :( . The irony being that the older U6S came with WinXP pre-installed and drivers were released for Vista also- for both 32 and 64bit versions.

Can anyone tell me where can i find them? and will this help:

Thanks in advance. any kind of help will be truly apreciated. :)

If Asus' U6S support section has 64bit Vista drivers for everything, then they should all probably work for the -sg version, except perhaps for the video driver (that you'll have to search around for)..... Asus is usually slow in posting drivers in the support sections for model updates, but they're almost always the same ones (just cut/pasted into the new section).

The only real difference in the -sg update, I think, was probably the cpu and gpu - everything else about the unit requiring a driver would have stayed the same. You'll want to compare the spec sheets between both -S and -Sg systems to be sure, however. Good luck.
