I have an Asus g50 A1 or A2 its black and orange with a 9700 GT.

It is not quite getting the performance I am looking for. I tried to overclock it with rivatuner but that did not work. Is there any way to overclock or possably swap out the card for a better one.

Geez, Don't just tell him to read all that.

    Short answer: No.

There's been several threads on the possibility of updating to the 9800M GS which is on the newer G50VT, but there has been no luck so far.

If you are really really unhappy with your videocard performance, the best option would be to sell your laptop ASAP, the sooner you sell it the more you'll get for it, and then look into better solutions.

    Hope that helped.
