    Hi.

Due to the problems with my W3J, I'm benchmarking every aspect (CPU, RAM, GPU) to test what casues my game freezing to give ASUS more detail.

I'm currently doing Prime 95 (2 threads to load both cores with the torture test)

I'm looking for a good, reputable video card stressing software.

I know that when it comes to burning in your CPU, big names are prime 95, Super pi (not so much) and Sisoft sandra.... are there any video card equivilents so I can test what's wrong with my W3J?

    Thank you for any assistance.

PS: I only started benchmarking today and not after I got my W3J back from ASUS repair cause it was my birthday the day before yesterday.... and well, I was out having fun yesterday.... :D

If you're willing to spend money then you could buy the Pro version of 3DMark06.

3dmark 05 would be the only test you need

Can't run the loop tests with the Free version of '05. So RTHDRIBL is the best free thing.

    Thanks guys.

Yea, i already have 3Dmark05 But I need to loop so I can stress the video card to find out what the problem is with my W3J so I can report back to ASUS to yet again get RMA

So far, after 4 hours of Prime 95, using the torture test (last option, test FPU and RAM) I have concluded that the CPU and RAM runs fine.

So how... really, I'm going to check the GPU... which is the last vital component.......

sit down and play a fairly new game for a few hours ;)

This way you replicate real life conditions AND have MUCH more fun then running some program in loops =P
