    Hi!

I have a G50VT-X1 with the Dox 185.85 driver. When I watch streaming videos (ie. YouTube, Yahoo Movie Trailers, etc...), it skips a few frames on the entire clip reoccurring every 2-3 seconds. Is there any way to fix this?

Right click the video and deselect hardware acceleration. For some reason, nVidia GFX cards have a hard time with flash video streaming.

I did that and it's still doing it. This doesn't happen on my other laptop, which is a Toshiba V1020 with just an Intel Graphics Accelerator Card. Also reinstalled Dox's 185.85 driver and PhysX. Any suggestions guys? =(

Also interested in this, I have the same problem with my G50vt-X1. Forceware 186.03.

Make sure you guys have Flash 10 installed. Uninstall any previous Flash versions first before installing 10.

    Some other things to note:
-Memory leaks from programs (especially web browsers) can cause video lag while streaming. Make sure to close all unnecessary apps. (for ram issues)
-Pause and buffer the entire content before playing (for slow internet connections)
-If all else still fails, then try another web browser.

OK, I reinstalled Flash 10 and it's still doing it.

Good news, I installed Google Chrome and watched a 720p video on youtube and it's not doing it anymore. But if I switch to 1080p, then it lags terribly. I guess it's a hardware thing. But I'm fine with 720p. I still wanna keep Firefox as my web browser, so I kinda wanna know how to eliminate the lag Firefox/G50Vt-X1 combo produces.
