I need some help! I just help my friend to purchase a A8JS, it seems like I can't close or choose Yes to exit some of the applications like SYMANTEC when they pop out the dialog box, i wanted to quit from the update but i can't close it. When i open the trial version of Microsoft 2007, and tried to exit its setup, the pop up dialog box says something like to exit setup, Yes or No, i can't seem to click either of it. Sorry im not familiar with Vista....is it a bug or something?

Do i need to reinstall the OS?

    I do not understand.

Are there bugs in the applications that do not allow you to close them?

Or can't you click at all using the touchpad? Please note that there are keyboard shortcuts to all mouse actions in Windows (basically TAB to select items, SPACE to activate them)

tried all methods, using ALT tab to switch, ALT + F4 to close, using the USB mouse to navigate and close , using the touchpad and all but to no avail. It keeps giving me a 'ding' sound like the tab is hidden somewhere and can't close it. Its difficult to explain. I will attach a example as im at work right now not at home with the lappy.

When i try to focus on the window, it gets focused but when i click on Yes or No to quit/save the application, it doesnt allow me to. This happens for the Symantec and Windows MS 2007 and the installed Adobe reader so I got all 3 items stuck with the 3 dialogbox on screen though i was able to open up other applications. Below is just an example, right now its focused, so all i need to do is to move the mouse, click on any of the options, Yes/No/Cancel, but unfortunately i dont know wahts up with the Vista that its playing trick on me!

Sounds like the same issue I had with my A8JS...

Toggle the wireless button on your A8JS and see if you can start clicking again

It seems to be an application bug where a modal window is created that for some reason you cannot see. That blocks the clicks.
Try the suggestion of the poster above.

Forgot to add, this happens only near the centre of the screen. Drag your windows to the outer edges and see if you can click on them

Thanks for the tip, will go check it out. it is really frustrating! is there anyway to fix this bug? Any updates for Vista?

As with new setup of new laptop, my problem im facing now is network/internet connectivity. Managed to connect to my wireless modem but says 'Limited Connectivity' to the internet. I read one of the member's guide to Wireless, gone through all of it and done everything as instructed but still having the same message. Any idea what I can do?

A patch is needed to fix this annoying problem. This patch uninstalls a file called ATKOSD2 or something, but I forgot where I found it. Do a search for it on google. You can also uninstall it yourself though.

As for wireless, make sure you entered the encryption key of your wireless router into the wireless program. The reason it's getting limited connectivity is because it cannot authenticate your connection
